Ladies’ Golf
Last week the Ladies played a Stroke and Putting Competition in very windy conditions.
The winner with 74 Nett was Wendy Jackson Pip White was the runner up with 76 Nett. Pip also won the Putting competition. Donna White won the nearest the pin on the 18th hole.
This week is a Bisque Par competition. Next week is a Stableford. Also next week Wendy Jackson will be playing in the Golf NSW State Medal Final at Stonecutters Ridge. Good luck Wendy!
Birdie
Vets Golf
Last Tuesday was our 4BBB stableford with 16 players taking part. Robert Moore and Wayne Archibald were the winners with a great 46 points. Jon Cumming and Neil Paine were runners up with 42. NTPs went to Neil Paine, Colin Mulligan and Phil Devlin.
On Friday, six Vets travelled to Uralla for their open and the last round of the New England medal. Despite having three players in contention they fell short with Jon Cumming unlucky finishing equal first but losing on a countback. Ian Taylor and Wal Chapman both picked up a NTP and Phil Devlin got B grade runner up.
Next week is a stableford followed by presentations.

Men’s Bowls
Results: Final Club Major Singles D Wilcox 31 C Stanley 19. Our annual Bowls Carnival starts Tuesday December 4th with Ladies Triples. On Wednesday there will be Mixed Triples, Thursday and Friday Men’s Pairs and on Saturday and Sunday Men’s Triples.
Coming up on Sunday December13th December is the Brian Vickery ham day. All welcome, please put your name down on the sheet at the club

Midweek golf
Last two weeks of results for the midweek. Last week individual high scores went to: Callum Morse 25, Shona Mulligan 24, Brenton Jackson 22, and on 21 were Wendy Jackson, Debbie Burey, Debra Heffernan, Sharon Vickery and Jane Bercini. Well done everyone.
Team score went to That’s a Gimme with 88, then Pitch Purrfects 80, followed by Shire Sharks 74, Baldersleigh Bashers 73, Denzels Frothingtons 73 and Birdies 72.
This week individual scores went to Katri Virtanen 27. Great score. Then Jon Cumming 25 and on 24 were Mark Atkin, Robert Sisson, Barry Wilson and Nikki Brennan. On 23 was Les Heffernan and on 22 James Jackson.
Team score with one point lead went to That’s a Gimme 84, then Westerners 83, Baldersleigh Bashers and Grip-Rip-Sip on 82.
Please remember to put your name and team on your card. We had a card this week with a good score but no details. Will update individual and team scores in next weeks paper to check how everyone is going.
Middy
Sunday Golf
This Sunday a team of six will be travelling to Emmaville to compete in the District Pennants. The team will be Scott and Trent Mendes, Peter Jackson, Mick and Harry Purvis and Tyson Burey. Good luck to the team.
The following weekend of the December14th will be a Junior/Senior day so any junior boys interested in golf we ask you to please come along, even beginners. December 21st will be a Ham and Turkey day with great prizes on offer. Some fun events leading up to Christmas and there are some new ideas in the pipeline for season 2026.
Also don’t forget our annual Boxing Day Ambrose, this event is always huge so if you are around come along and enjoy. HAPPY GOLFING
