The Guyra Cricket Club capped off a successful season with its annual presentations, held at the Royal Hotel on Sunday April 13th. The club celebrated players young and old for their efforts and achievements both on and off the field.

Club Person of the Year
Heath Dowsett.
A highlight was the presentation of Life Membership to Club President James Stewart, recognising his long-standing service to the club and the broader cricketing community.
James played cricket in local Guyra competitions for many years, before moving into coaching. He began coaching an Under 9s team and continued the journey with the team through to Under 16s with great success.
His passion for the game saw him help revive the Guyra Cricket Club, ensuring local players had a pathway to continue playing in the Armidale District Competition.
He also dedicated countless hours to umpiring at junior, senior, and representative levels, making a lasting contribution to the sport.
The club extends its sincere thanks to sponsors Royal Hotel, Squadron Energy, and Grazag for their continued support throughout the season.
