Lamb Show attracts great interest

Rob Lenehan and Joy Saunders from Guyra Show Society Lamb committee are extremely pleased with the overwhelming response we had at the Lamb Show and Sale on Friday February 21st at our 117th Annual show.
The Lamb Show and Sale has previously been held at the weekly Guyra Sheep and Lamb sale, however this year we decided to take it back to the Guyra Show. This proved successful with entries from 33 vendors and a total of 246 lambs exhibited.
We would like to thank Andrew Jackson who took on the challenge and the sponsors including Thomas Foods International (TFI) for sponsoring and also processing the lambs.

Also a big thankyou to Jimmy Lenehan and Nat Mendes and their team and all the vendors and Agents who turned up to help, what a great team effort. Special mention to the team who have had two trips to Tamworth to finalise over the Hook results, we really appreciate your support.
Lastly, but by no means least, a big thank you to Brian Wellings for undertaking the big job as judge on the Hoof and to Robert Munn and Jessira Saunders for taking on the judging over the Hook at TFI in Tamworth.
