Bald Blair Centenary celebrations cancelled

Bald Blair Public School Centenary Celebrations are yet another event to be cancelled due to COVID. With ongoing visitor restrictions to schools, the committee have cancelled the Open Day Celebration which was to be held on 2 April, 2022.
Original festivities were planned as an Open Day/Sports Day and Gala Dinner being held in the centenary year of 2020. After two postponements due to COVID and now two years since the centenary year, the committee won’t postpone the celebrations to a new date.
However, the milestone will not go unmarked! A commemorative path is being laid shortly. You can still purchase a paver and have your name etched in the school’s history. You may place individual or family names. Final orders will be taken up until 25 March. Please contact the school to have a form emailed to you.
The 100 Year Magazine is being finalised for publishing and will be available for purchase. If you have a last-minute memoir or any quality photographs to include, please email these to the address below immediately.
A 100 year capsule will be filled and erected on a wall in the school with a commemorative plaque. An unveiling will take place at a later date within COVID guidelines.
