Get ready for a day of non-stop local music as the Big Day Trout Music Festival kicks off on Sunday, October 5th at the Guyra Bowling Club Carpark. The festival, which is a key part of the larger Guyra TroutFest (3rd-6th October), promises a fantastic day of free entertainment for all ages.
The gates will open at 9:30 AM, with a full line-up of home grown talent ready to take the stage. The festival’s focus on local artists is a celebration of the vibrant music scene in the region.
Featured bands in the lineup include The Warts, The Axemen, Dead-life co-op, Partyline, Soberphobia, and Skinner Boys, along with many other acts.
“We are thrilled to be playing with this incredible lineup of local musicians and to bring music to Guyra,” said musician and festival organiser, Neil McLeod.
“It’s a great way to showcase our community’s talent and provide a fun, free event for everyone.”
Following the conclusion of the music at the Bowling Club Carpark, the party will move to the Australian Poetry Hall of Fame for the Guyra TroutFest Mirrorball Dance Party from 8:00 PM on Sunday, 5th October.
This all-ages dance party will continue the celebrations into the night, offering a unique close to the festival.
The Big Day Trout Music Festival is a free event, welcoming families and music lovers of all ages to enjoy a day of great music and community spirit.
