Guyra’s main street is set to come alive with festive cheer this Friday, December 5th, as the much-loved Guyra Christmas Carnival returns for another spectacular year of community celebration.
Running from 4pm to 8pm in Bradley Street, the family-friendly event promises an evening full of joy, colour, and Christmas spirit.
Proudly delivered in partnership by Guyra Rotary and Armidale Regional Council, the carnival has long been a highlight on the local calendar bringing families, friends, and visitors together to celebrate the magic of the season.
There will be plenty to enjoy throughout the evening, including a special visit from Santa Claus and the chance to hop aboard the Jingle Express for a cheerful train ride through the heart of town. Entertainment will be in full swing with a live magician, along with a line-up of vibrant stage performances sure to captivate crowds of all ages.
Children will be spoilt for choice with a range of fun activities, while the bustling market and food stalls, alongside local businesses, will offer delicious treats and unique Christmas gifts. One of the night’s most anticipated moments will be the lighting of the Christmas tree at 7:30pm, creating a magical centrepiece for the celebration.
With its long-standing tradition of bringing the community together, this year’s event promises to be just as memorable as ever. So gather your family and friends, head to Bradley Street, and enjoy an unforgettable evening as Guyra lights up for Christmas.
