BreastScreen NSW Mobile Unit Coming to Guyra

10th Feb 2026

Local women are being encouraged to take advantage of a free, potentially life-saving health service when the BreastScreen NSW mobile screening unit visits Guyra in March.
The mobile clinic will be operating from 4th to 11th March at the Public Car Park, 131 Bradley Street, Guyra, providing free mammograms for eligible women.
Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers affecting women in New South Wales, with one in seven women diagnosed during their lifetime. Importantly, nine out of ten women who develop breast cancer have no family history, highlighting the importance of regular screening for all women, not just those considered at higher risk.
Early detection is key. A mammogram can detect changes in breast tissue well before they can be seen or felt, greatly improving treatment options and outcomes. The screening process is quick, simple and carried out by experienced health professionals in a supportive environment.
Appointments can be made online through BreastScreen NSW or by calling 13 20 50. With the mobile unit only in Guyra for a limited time, local women are urged not to delay and to make breast screening a priority.
