Exciting Start to School for Transition to Kindergarten Students at Bald Blair

Friday marked a joyful beginning for Bald Blair Public School’s Transition to Kindergarten students as they stepped into school for the very first time. The day was filled with laughter, learning, and lots of fun activities designed to welcome our youngest learners to the school community.
Guided by their wonderful teacher, Miss Tegan, the morning started with some special photos to capture the excitement and memorable first moments. Students then gathered for story time, where they listened intently and enjoyed tales that sparked their imaginations.
Creativity flourished as the children made colourful jellyfish and engaged in other craft activities, allowing them to express themselves and develop fine motor skills. The fun continued in the playground, where our Transition students had the chance to play sport alongside the older students, fostering a sense of belonging and teamwork.
This wonderful day set a positive tone for the term ahead, as our newest students began their educational journey surrounded by support, encouragement, and plenty of smiles.
We look forward to watching these young learners grow, explore, and thrive throughout their time at our school.
